does anyone know how to allow a non admin account to login in once u get
event id 533's (workstation restriction) and then a message 'your account is
configured to prevent u from using this computer'??

If this is Pro, you can examine a couple policies in the=20
Local Security Policy. The account should be a member=20
of the Users group (you only said non-admin), and the=20
account or a group it is in should be=20
granted the user right to log in locally
not listed as denied local login
(these two are policies in the User Rights area of the=20
Security section of Local Policy under Computer node)
If the machine is in a domain then you need to find out=20
what policies are being applied from AD.

i checked all that many a time. the accounts arent
disabled or anything. no domain. so how or where does one
set workstation login restrictions??
