Recently when we start typing with 'www' as the address
we want to reach, several (3, 4 or 5) adult explicit
sites come into the field completed before you know it !
How can we clear, clean or eliminate these from this PC
that our teen uses? We have BlackIce and PoPuP Blocker
on, and still they get through with 'HIGH' security and
can NOT be cleared out, by deleting temp files and off-
line content. Please help with any means to clean this
out of our 'family room' PC.
Thanks in advance for your assistance in this, D. Rash

See this link for help:

Some of those sites begin with numbers so that they start appearing
as soon as you type www. Someone had to visit those sites for them
to be in the history. You can open your History folder to see when
they were visited and take action accordingly. You can use the
Content tab to block access to sites of which you do not approve.
You password protect the list.

Following up on the comment by Earl that=20
"Someone had to visit those sites", one can also, when=20
logged in as an admin, look into the Temporary Internet=20
Files (two levels deeper actually for an account not in=20
use at the time) to see what specifically has been accessed.=20

Do not be too harsh or jump to conclusions - there is a lot=20
of porn popup site pages that is triggered when one tries=20
to prowl around in warez circles - those sites might not=20
have been the objective of browsing but a side-effect.
