Program menu

I had to re-install my windows xp and now my programs
menu comes up ontop of my start menu. How can I move it
back to the right of the start menu.

I sure would appreciate any help I can get, Thanks Jerry

Is it oversized? Go into Control Panel,Display, Appearance
tab >Advanced. Click the down arrow by "Desktop" and
find "Menus". Select a smaller size and Apply and OK your
way out.

It sounds like you have enabled the Classic Start Menu. To re-enable the
newer Start Menu, open up the "Taskbar and Start Menu Properties" from the
Control Panel. Then click on the Start Menu tab, and choose "Start Menu"
instead of "Classic Start Menu" (if that is in fact what the problem is).

Otherwise, it sounds like you may have dragged your entire taskbar to the
left side of the screen, so that it sits vertically along the left side of
your screen. If this is the case, you should be able to just drag it back
to the bottom of the screen.
