I have 2 children set up with their own accounts on XP,
but they are Limited Accounts. Within the last two days,
they are unable to connect to the internet. They get
the "Microsoft has encountered a problem" message. Up
until now, they have had no problem connecting to the
internet. Now it will only work if I change their
accounts to Administrators, which I don't want to do. Any
advice

Hi Nancy,

Run the newest IE update listed here under Why does IE crash:

Top 10 Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

And also this edit:

Keep Ras Connection within Fast User Switching (Line 32)

Some Programs Do Not Work If You Log On from Limited Account
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q307091

To work around this behavior, you can grant Administrative access to
individual programs by using the following steps:

Right-click the program's file name or shortcut. Click Advanced, click Run
with different credentials, and then click OK. Start the program. When you
receive a prompt, enter an administrative user ID and password.
