Ladies and Gentleman,
Please help. About a year ago I set up my FTP server on
XP Pro the way I wanted and I now cannot remember what I
did to now make some changes.
For about a year I set up the ability for anonymous users
to take stuff from my FTP server but not write anything to
it for security reasons. In addiiton, my admin account
that I use every day was able to both take and write stuff
from the server. Perfect.
I now want to add another account (separate from mine),
however, that also has the ability to write and read from
the FTP server.
I have now somehow disabled anonymous access when
unsuccessfully trying to add another account. My admin
account still works just fine.
Please advise.
By the way, my FTP server points to a folder in the "My
Documents" section of my admin account.

If you did not remove the anonymous allowed setting in=20
the FTP management interface in IIS mgmt app, then=20
you disabled anonyous access due to NTFS permissions=20
on the root FTP area. You likely used to have this area=20
set with read for the IUSR_ account and Full for your=20
admin account, and have now whacked that.
