I don't like desktop Icons

I had an old computer with XP on it, and I somehow made
it never put icons on my desktop. Now the closest is I
can get it to take out My documents, and My computer etc,
but it still puts up new ones, and I cant get rid of the
recycle bin. I have no problem using my start button,
and I want a clean desktop. PLEASE HELP!

Hi Stuart,

Right click the Desktop/Arrange Icons By/Uncheck Show Desktop Icons.

You can also just delete any new icons that are placed there - they're just
shortcuts.
