You can check in your folder options, in view tab, make
sure that REMEMBER EACH FOLDER'S VIEW SETTINGS is
ticked... If it still does not make any difference, try
to press F5 to refresh your icons, they should be
arranged in alphabetical order...
I also experience the exact same thing... This happens
when your view is TILES view, isn't it? I think it is a
bug in Windows XP...
