Navigate to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion
\Explorer and set ThumbnailQuality (DWARD) to 50 for low
quality images or 100 for high quality.
Set ThumbnailSize (DWORD) to the size of the thumbnail in
pixels, if you set this to 32 for instance, the thumbnail
will be 32 x 32.
Note you can save the registry key first by:
On the File menu, click Export.
In the File name box, type SaveKey, and then click Save.
Or create a system restore point prior to editing.
Edit the registry at your own risk.
