I'm having endless problems getting a new Windows PX Box
to join my existing Windows 2K domain. The workstation
creates it's account and will join the domain normally.
However, adding an existing domain user to the
workstations Ctrl Panel > User Accounts fails. It
continuously bring up the error "The trust relationship
between this workstation and the domain controller failed"

Any ideas? I've tried different connections, different
computer accounts, user names, everything I can think of.

Thanks

Is the XP client configured to use only DNS servers=20
that are appropriate for the AD environment ?
You also might want to try disabling the policy on the=20
client in the Security Options named like=20
MS Network Client : digitally sign communications when=20
server agrees
