Ctrl F6 allows me to switch between different windows of one application,
like 5 open Word docs. It takes two hands to get those keypresses however. I
want to use the Control key and the Q key. How do I do this?

I think you mean Alt + F6.
Alt + Tab does essentially the same thing and is quite reachable with one
hand's span.

No, it is not Alt Tab. For example, if more than one page is open in
FrontPage, Alt Tab will not switch between the FrontPage windows. It is not
Alt F6 either. The Alt Tab you are talking about does work with Word, but
not FrontPage or Excel. This is because Word documents open with a separate
instance of Word, but these other prgs do not.
