Ever since one of my program installs decided to 'help' me by loading
the 'latest DX' install, my system media components have been
increasingly crashy and non-functional - (Webcam, MSN messenger, TV,
video-capture, etc.).
These problems have ONLY begun since installing DirectX 9.0a.
How do I successfully revert back to 9.0?
Thanks,
Greg

Since DirectX is a system component, there is no uninstall feature
associated with it. If System Restore is available, you could revert back to
a time prior to it's installation.
You might also be able to resolve the problems by checking for updates to
your Sound and Video card drivers.
