Yes, as long as you buy the Italian version.
You can not change one language version to another language.

And, you can NOT "upgrade" from one language to another. You will need to
buy the FULL version of XP in Italian (unless you are indeed upgrading from
a prior Italian Windows OS, qualifying for Upgrade status).

Put in the CD, and when it starts select "Installa da Windows"
