View Full Version : Moving the Recycle Bin

I recently decided to move my quick launch folder to the
entire left side of my screen and have it auto hide. I did
this so I could get all of my icons off of my desktop. The
issue I am running into is being able to add my recycle
bin to this folder. I have looked around and can't find
anything on how to move the recycle bin to another folder.
Does anyone know how to do that?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Eric,

Add the Recycle Bin to your Desktop

Replace/Repair the Recycle Bin (Line 64)
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Once it is on your Desktop, drag it to your Quick Launch bar. You can also
opt to adding this edit:

Add Empty Recycle Bin to the Right Click (Line 21)
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Then delete the added Recycle Bin from your Desktop. Another option of
course is adding the Desktop Toolbar to the Taskbar. If you choose that
route, I have the edits to remove any Desktop icons that remain after adding
the Desktop Tool bar.
