I just replaced my old computer (with Windows '98)with a
new computer with Windows XP.

I want to install Greek fonts on the new computer but
can't find any instructions on the Internet for any
version more recent than Windows '98 (and in several
cases, Windows '95) Can I use these with the newer
version of Windows?

No. Instead, do one of the following:

- Go to Control Panel and then "Regional and Language" settings. From there
you can set your Language and Locale to Greek/Greece.
- You can also open IE and go to Tools\Internet Options. Click the Languages
button.
