i have 2 hard drives on my computer...can i install and
activate the same copy of windows xp on each or must i buy
a separate copy for each hard drive? (note - i use these
hard drives independent of one another)

The understanding that I have is No. If you read the=20
EULA.txt file on your system, which same you accepted=20
during initial installation, it states that you may make=20
one installation on one machine. In other words, it does=20
seem to be quite specific about this. Thus, to dual boot=20
a machine with XP and XP requires two XP licenses.
