I was wondering if it is possible to have one log in name
set to a screen resolution of say 1200x1000 and have
another log in name set to 800x600. I share this comp.
with family and one person cant see and the other wants a
lot of room. Is it possible to do this without having to
switch the screen resolution manually everytime you log
on??

Hi Nick,

Display Resolution and Color Depth Settings Apply to All Users
http://support.microsoft.com/directory/article.asp?ID=KB;EN-US;Q281565

This applet allows each separate user of a Windows XP computer to have
her/his separate settings for the display resolution, color depth and
refresh rate.

When Fast User Switching is used, the display settings change automatically
when switching among users.
