Desktop XP ICONS

I set my MSxp desktop at normal size icons . Very
often ,i open XP to find I have very large
Icons . .Resetting does not always help . How can I solve
this.

Try this. But I am not sure whether this is the right way to do it.

Right click on your desktop then click on 'Desktop' tab.
Click on the 'Customize Desktop' button and click on 'Web' tab.
Then check 'Lock desktop items' option.
