XP, ie 6.1, can no longer view secure pages

This is a long shot, but I had a problem getting into
hotmail by clicking on the unread mail link in messenger,
or any other secured web page after enabling "System
Cryptography:User FIPS compliant algorithims for
encryption, hashing, and signing" under local security
policy.

Brandon,

If you enable FIPS compliant algorithms you should=20
make sure in the IE options that TLS 1.0 is allowed.
