Windows xp home crashed now user settings are gone

Windows completely frozen even Ctrl alt del. I turned the
computer off and back on. Now my user name is there but
when i click it all files, outlook, desktop, etc. are
gone. I know the info is there somewhere but how do i get
it back to the way it was?
