Hi,
After applying the Windows XP patches from the MS site, I
am now finding that Starting and Shutting Down Windows XP
takes much longer than before. Also, when starting up,
directly after the Windows XP startup screen, my screen
goes blank for about 30 seconds and then I get the Welcom
screen. I have a 2.4 GHz P4 PC.
Does anyone know why this is happening and how to speed up
the startup and shutdown again.
