Hi
Thanks for your reply
I've managed to work out how to do it. So if anyone else
was stuck on this/ or is interested then read on:
You need to create a .bat file using notepad with the
following typed in:
net share c$ /delete
net share admin$ /delete
pause
then save it as share.bat
put this file in the windows start up file and it should
work
Peace

Actually, there is a registry setting.
These are as Brendan said, administrative shares,=20
and can only be accessed by an account that is an=20
administrator on the machine. These are every bit=20
as tightly secured as any other sharing.
=
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\LanManServer\Paramet=
ers
=20
Change (or create if missing) DWORD value=20
"AutoShareWks", and set it to 0 (zero)
=20
--=20
