View Full Version : Can't connect to Internet on other user

Hey everyone
I can't seem to connect to my dial-up connection on
another user.. For some reason it says that the Media.INI
file is referring to an unknown device. I am using a
script, but it was designed only for 95/98, but it works
on one user account. Why is this happening?

I would ask the ISP for help. Microsoft says that the Dial-Up
Networking files are defective but because you can connect from one
account this is not very likely the true cause of your problem.

I am using windows xp pro and I know that on my computer
if another user has the internet loaded and you log on as
another user then it won't access the internet period ...
also if you just switch users then that also has the same
effect ... just though i would share my eperience:) hope
this helps

What script would that be? There is only one registry value that needs to
be changed in XP.
