i recently purchased windows xp professional and upgraded

monitor, and is now set up with "default monitor". now,
everything on the computer seems to be enlarge, and
whenvever i try to put it on a normal size, it says "out
of scan range" i don't know much about computers.. and
i've tried everything to fix it, but i'm stuck. i really

Hi Laura,
Right click the Desktop/Properties/Settings/Advanced/Monitor and change the
screen refresh rate (try 60 for starters). If the settings box is too large
to hit the apply button, enter works as well.
