I am looking for a way to hide the text of windows xp's desktop icons
(or make it 100% transparent) , so that only the icons will appear...
is there a registry tweak or a tool?

Hi,
Right click the icon in question, choose Rename, hold down the ALT key and
type 0160 from the keypad.
To remove the label for second icon, hit Alt+0160 twice (release the Alt key
between each time). For the third icon, hit Alt+0160 three times. And so
on.

Yeah, I know that this method works, but I'm looking for something
different... Is there no possible way to make the icon text
transparent or something?
