This is usually caused by something called wake on lan. You can disable
this feature in the BIOS. When you boot the system, the first screen
usually contains a message that you can enter setup or something similar by
hitting a specific key. When you see that message, follow that instruction
and then navigate around until you find Wake on lan and disable it.
