Attachments on email

I can not open an attachment to email. The file name of
the attachment is not bold like it should be when you
click on the paper clip
Please help

Goto Tools, Options
Then goto the Security tab
Uncheck "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could
potentially be a virus"
