Paint????

Hi, Wondering where my paint shop went. Is there supposed
to (it) supposed to be in all of window's? I have xp home
and at one time had it. Where did it go and how could i
get it back? I have tried ms website but all is there is
update's and such and also cannot find anything on cd's
for reinstalling. Dont know what's going on can anyone
help?

Paint Shop is not a Microsoft application. If you are referring to the
Paint applet, it should be located in Start\All Programs\Accessories\Paint.
It is a part of the XP defualt installation. If you dont see it, do you
have a retail version of XP?

Assuming you have a retail version, go to Add/Remove Programs in Control
Panel, click Add/Remove Windows Components. If there's no check next to
Accessories and Utilities, place a check next to it, click next and follow
the screens. If there is a check, remove it, click next follow the screens
to let the system remove it, then place a check next to it and follow the
screens to reinstall it.

jWhat did Search find ? If nothing, one place I didn't see mentioned...
Look in C:/WINDOWS/system32. If it's not there, follow Mike Solomon's
reinstall instructions. It should now be in that folder if successfully
done.
