I never use some of the MS default folders in XPHome.
However, each time I uninstall or delete one, they
magically reappear.
These pesky folders are: microsoft frontpage, ms gaming
zone, and net meeting.
Has anyone deleted these successfully?

Jim

Can't be done. There can be files installed in those directories, =
depending on install options, so they are being monitored by Windows =
File Protection. The way WFP works means when it initialises it creates =
the folder and holds the folder open, like a file. It looks for any file =
operations that match a list of filenames.

WFP can't be turned off unless you conect an external computer (a =
debugger) to you computer and set arcane registry keys.
