2 things:
1. if you run setup when your computer boots (bios), does
the bios recognize the drive?
2. it sounds like you may not have configured the drive
correctly - make sure that the master and slave setting
is correct on the back of your CDROM drive. Your drive
should have come with instructions or some such
information.
