This morning I turned on my computer (Windows XP Home),
and realized that any of the open programs does not
appear on the taskbar whether it is restored or minimized.
Other user accounts in the same computer do not have the
problem.
After comparing the unlocked taskbar between my account
and others, I found that the one of the dotted lines
dividing different toolbar is missing. This may sound
very confusing...
If you unlock the toolbar with quicklaunch, then you
normally see one dotted line between 'start' and
quicklaunch icons, and one dotted line right next to the
other side of quicklaunch icons. If you have some other
toolbars, then there would be another dotted line in
front of whatever toolbar it is.
START :: quicklaunch icons :: empty space :: other toolbar
However, I'm missing the dotted line after quicklaunch
toolbar. So open programs do not appear on the taskbar...
Could anyone help?
Thank you.
Sincerely,
James Yun
