How can you tell if your Windows XP version is 32 bit vs.
64 bit?

More than likely, you have 32-bit. The 64-bit version runs only on
computers with high-end Itanium processors. If you want to check further,
open Windows Explorer, right-click on MyComputer, then select Properties.
If you have 64-bit Windows, it will say so explicitly; if you have 32-bit,
Properties will report only the Windows version, build, etc., with no
explicit mention of 32-bit.

You do what you should have done before posting - you search the group(s) to
see if anyone might conceivably have had a similar problem. Had you done so,
you'd have found at least 5,000 answers to your question - please visit the
first link in my signature for answers to this - and all other - FAQs.

Hi Jean,

Most probably 32 bit. Run the edit on line 258 (right hand side) to be
sure. http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm
