Using Win XP's Backup utility, one is supposed to be able to pick the
folders and files to restore, but I have not been able to figure out how to
get the tree structure which allows one to pick folders and files, though I
can do a complete restore of a backup.
Thanks, CMA

Hi,
You need to use the option to backup selected files, drives, etc. in the
wizard.
If you are just using the tabbed interface, then you should work from the
backup tab for this option.

Hi Jeff:
Thanks for the MS reference.
It says "Select the check boxes for the folders that you want to restore. If
you want to be more specific in your selections, double-click the folder
that you want, and then select the check boxes for the files or folders that
you want to restore."
But it does not tell you how to get the tree so you can select check boxes
for the folders and files you want to restore. That is my problem.
Cheers, CMA

Hi Mr. tee,
Nothing there about how to get the tree. That is the problem.
I have done everything in the lists, but no tree with folders and files.
