desktop configurations for multiple users

Is there a way to carry over the administrator's desktop
settings to a new user when created? For example, if i
have classic view activated and a particular background
set for my administrative user, can these settings be
carried over when I create a second user, as opposed to
setting them up manually all over again?

Hi!

Firstly, log in with your administrative account. Then start the Files and
Setting Transfer Wizard (FASTWiz; All Programs > Accessories > System
Tools). Follow the steps of the wizard. You should claim, that this is "the
old computer", and create the settings file to an other place (you can put
it to anywhere on your hard disk)
Then login with the newly created account, start FASTWiz, follow the steps,
but keep in mind, that this is "the new computer". Load the settings form
the place you saved it to. That's it.
