I just bought a new labtop with XP. Does XP still have
Microsoft Word and Excel? If so, why cannot I not find
them anywhere? How do I access them?

Microsoft Excel and Word are part of the Microsoft Office suite.
You need to buy it or them separately.

Greetings --
Neither the Microsoft Office application suite, nor any of its
individual component applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access,
Outlook, etc.), have _ever_ been "part" of *any* Windows operating
system. They are, and always have been, separate applications, that
must be purchased and installed separately.
