How can onne take a picture or snapshot of his/her real
time screen (all windows, etc. as is). At work, I have a
mac. and there is a shortkey option to do it, and i was
wondering if I could do it on my PC at home. Thanks

Press the "Print Screen" button. This will capture the whole screen to the
clipboard. Then open an image editor (Paint will do nicely) and PASTE.

Pressing the <PrtScn> key copies the entire display to the
clipboard. Pressing <ALT>+<PrtScn> copies only the active Window to
the clipboard. To view the screen capture, open a graphics program,
such as MS Paint, and press <CTRL>+V. This will paste the contents of
the clipboard (your screenshot) into the open file, and allow you to
view it or save it as a file for later use.

Capture, from www.analogx.com does the same things, but
copies the screenshot to a file of your choice, so you can
take several shots in a row while browsing or whatever. It
is a free program.

This little utility, Print Screen, from PCWorld downloads does it all in one
step. Found it today at this link.
http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file_description/0,fid,22960,tk,hsx,00.asp.
It's only 564kb and sits in the sys tray. Lots of options to save, edit,
print, paste and such. Check it out.
