I just got a new computer at work with XP Professional.
Currently when you go any of the applications it only
shows you the menu of the most frequently use items. I
recall a tip in PC Magazine that eliminated this feature
and showed the entire menu. How do you do this?

Hi Bill,

Uncheck Use Personalized Menus. Right click the Start
button/Properties/Customize, scroll down to the very bottom.

Hi Bill, working on the assumption that you're talking about office xp,
here's what you do. From an open area of the toolbar, select customize and
select the options tab. Check the box next to always show full menus.
Cheers.

Oh my gosh! I love you!! That silly short menu drives me=20
up the wall!! I found the fix in Office XP and had to go=20
around to everyone's computer at work and fix it for=20
them. I would say "Go under Data and then Text to=20
Columns" and they would say it wouldn't show up so I would=20
have to go over there and show them, etc. Most times I=20
would get a reply of "I didn't know it could do that" and=20
I would think to myself, "If people had the full menus,=20
they would know it..."

So Thanks a ton!
