Hi, Perhaps som1 has encountered similar problem.
I'm trying 2 update WINDOW XP PRO on a brand new Dell
laptop.
Upon clicking INSTALL, the End User License Agreement
comes up, where 1 may click "accept" to continue
or "don't accept" with no installation.
Those 2-3 lines with that "accept/don't accept" message
IS MISSING. That screen ends with a beaautiful blue rim,
indicating that it is not cut off or corrupted it just is
missing. (I logged on 2 same site, etc. with my DESKTOP
and sure enough, that full screen is there!)
I'd appreciate any help with this.
Tnx.

Right-click on your desktop and select Properties > Settings > Advanced.
Under the "General tab" in Advanced Display Settings, adjust your
DPI setting to "Normal Size (96 DPI)" and click "apply".
Then revisit the Windows Update web site.

Hi,
Tnx.
I was clicking away on the keyboard out of anger (lol)
and lo and behold, by clicking on the TAB key, that pop
up screen expanded the bottom half with those messages.
BTW, I spent with DELL tech support 1/2 hour and they had
no clue what i'm talking about (some guy in INDIA).
UNREAL.
Tnx
