WindowsXP; Right click a folder and "send to". The folder
gets sent but a copy remins in its original location; is
there a way to automatically delete this after the send
to has been completed?

Hi

You can add 'Move to Folder...' to the right click menu, but **please =
note this entails manually editing the Registry. Please backup the =
Registry before trying this**

Open the Registry and navigate to:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFilesystemObjects\shellex\Con textMenuHandlers

Right click on 'ContextMenuHandlers' and select New>Key - name the key =
'Move To' - without the quotes. Then double click 'Default' in the =
right hand pane and type or copy/paste the following into the 'Value =
data:' box:

{C2FBB631-2971-11d1-A18C-00C04FD75D13} - including the brackets. The =
effect should be immediate.

Neat, Will !!! I'll have to add your post to my 'neat tricks' folder ...

Another option for the OP is, of course, to use the 'Move to' icon on the
Explorer icon bar. I don't believe it's shown by default but can be added
by clicking on the icon bar and selecting 'Customize', then selecting the
'Move to' icon from the left panel and 'Add' it to the right panel.
