missing icons

When I started my computer this morning, all of my icons
on my screen disappeared. Please help. Thanks.

when you say missing everyone, check in the display settings, desktop and
customize desktop see if they are ticked or unticked, i am not sure if this
might help

Hi Jimmy,

Restore Desktop Icons and Taskbar (Line 195)
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Note: Do not reboot or logoff. Once the edit is merged, right click the
Notification Area/Task Manager/Processes. Highlight Explorer.exe, End
Process.

Leave the Task Manager open. Once the process has ended, choose File/New
Task and type in: Explorer.exe.
