Backspace problem with my profile

I have done that and they tell me it a microsoft problem.
I beleive this to be the case because when I swith over to
another profile evenything works just fine. There is
something wrong with XP that is specific to the profile
that I have created and use. I created a new profile for
myself and there is no problem. I could use the new
profile and delete the old but then I will loose all of my
emails and settings.
