Messenger 5 signing in

When I first go online each morning my Messenger 5 Plus does not sign in
automatically. However, from then on it will.

Also, when friend go on line, Messenger 5 does not play the WAV files that I
have told it to - I just get the default sound.

Can anyone help?

Well, the reason why it probably is not signing in is because it is disabled
by default. First, sign in manually to MSN Messenger. Then select "Options"
under "Tools". Click the "General" tab and check the box stating "Allow
automatic sign in when connected to the Internet". I'm not sure about the
WAVE files though.

Personally, I don't use third party programs such as Messenger "Plus", I
just use good 'ole MSN Messenger 5.0
