While browsing my Startup file in System Configuration I
noticed an entry called E_A1OIC2, which is in
HKCU\Software\Windows\CurrentVersion. There's also
something called Adobe Gamma Loader. What are they, and
do I need them on startup?

Find it out: "How to Troubleshoot By Using the Msconfig Utility in
Windows XP" (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=310560).
NTW: "Adobe Gamma Loader" comes with Adobe Photoshop.

Thanks, Thorsten. I did a file search which suggested
E_A101C2 is a spool of some sort, so I won't touch it.The
Gamma Loader must have come with Adobe Elements.
