Backspace problem with my profile

I don't know how computer savvy you are, but you could
just do the following:
create a new user, leaving your old user and info as it
is, then copy your settings from your old profile to your
new. That way you don't lose any settings, they are still
on your old login.
But that's just me, and I am savvy enough to do this.
