Changing Path for Programs

I currently have programs under both my user name and
administrator when I look in each Programs folder.
I want to put all the folders in either my user folder or
the administrator but it won't allow me to change the
path even when logged in as Administrator.

How do I change the path so all the programs are under
one folder?

Remove the applications and reinstall them.

Anything else you do in this regard is simply asking for trouble.
