unable to install new fonts

When I open the control panel and open Fonts, I do not
have a the "Install New Fonts" command in the File men.

I tried to just copy the new fonts into the Fonts folder
using Windows Explorer, but they still do not show up in
my list of fonts in Word or the other office programs.

Any suggestions? I really need to get these special fonts
installed.

See "Missing Menu Commands in the Fonts Folder"
(http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=133725).
If you copy the font files to the FONTS folder you may have to restart
Windows to make them available.
