Forget looking for any answers on the Microsoft site. I
have had the same problem with the same error code since I
updated Aug15 and still I have not found a solution. All I
can do now is go to the update catalogue and then do a
search for updates for XP SP1 and then have them sorted by
date and download them to a file I made up for this and
then I have to open them up and manually install them.
