I thought that I was able to do this in the past....

When I click on User Accounts, It brings it up, but loads
nothing. The back and forward buttons are there as is the
home button. Below these is simply a white screen. Also
when I tried to enable a regular user to be an admin. the
tab I was looking for was not there. I don't know why I
cannot figure this out. Can someone please help me login
to the Administrator...EA sports games will not play in a
regular user mode, You must be the admin...

Thx a bunch...

Try replacing nusrmgr.cpl with a fresh copy from the Windows CD.

Don't use THE Administrator Account, create a User with Administrative
rights and use that instead.

As a lurker - I always wondered if there's a difference in rights
between the 2. I.E.: THE admin account and a user with admin rights.

Can anyone clarify?

Thanks,

The most important difference is that *the* Administrator account can never
be deleted, whereas a user account with admin privileges can be.
Substantially they are the same at the work station level, other than for
strategic issues.

I looked for, and can't find, an article that decisively pins all of this
down. Sorry.

Thanks, Jim!

The '...other than for strategic issues' will make me do some more
research ;-))
