Where 'o where has my menu bar gone?

After running a program my screen came back at a 640x480
resolution instead of refresing to its usual 1024x768 .
Now my menu bar is nowhere to be found... I've looked
east west... high and low and... welll thats all i could
think to look... if i hit 'tab' enough times i can get
the Start button going, but other than that the entire
bar has disappeared...

Nick,
Why dont you right click on the desktop and choose properties flip to the
settings tab, and change the screen resolution to 1024x768 ?
