When I try to download pictures I am only offered two
file types ( bitmap and .art) And then after I download
them, Picture and fax viewer won't open them, or even
offer a preview. I don't have any idea whats goin on here.

Hi,

Delete your TIF's and try again. Control Panel/Internet Options/General tab,
"delete files".

Another way to clear Temporary Internet Files is to go to IE, select
Tools>Internet options...>General tab. Click on "Delete files" bar under
"Temporary Internet files".

Unless you use the *.ART format for images, disable "compressed graphics"
in AOL's preferences.
