CDROM Drive letters keep changing HELP!

Hey all. I like to statically assign my CD drive letters so they do not
cause problems when my login script runs for my network drives.

Here is my config:

C: - HD1
D: - HD1 (2nd partition)
E: - HD2
F: - Network Drive
G: - Network Drive
H: - Network Drive

N: - CDRW
O: - DVD
P: - Virtual device (alcohol 120%)

The problem is that after I reboot, the 3 CD drives get assigned back to F,
G, and H. This works on all my other machines and used to work on this
machine. I am getting a "clean" shut down each time. I have tried deleting
the MountedDevices key in the registry and re-assigning, but still the same
issue. I also tried deleting each device in the Device Manager, rebooted,
let the HW re-detect, reboot, re-assign, reboot, and it is still wrong. Any
Ideas?

Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Computer Management | Disk

Management under Storage, then RIGHT click on the drive letter to change

and select the Change Letter option.

change the drive letters to something out of the range you are trying to use.

I usually use "Y" and "Z".

That is what I do, but as soon as I reboot.... They are back to F, G, and H. :-(
